This multi-talented husband and wife duo have been bringing the Old West to their Midwest home in Wisconsin since 1989. They have appeared at national cowboy events from California to Florida. Three times "Harmony Yodeling Champions" (Western Music Association, 2005, 2002, 1999), they have also won numerous other awards for their showmanship and fantastic harmony singing.

Classic Cowboy Songs
Discovering KG & The Ranger is like turning back the pages of time as they transport you back to the days of the dime matinees and the Silver Screen heroes like Roy Rogers, Sons of the Pioneers and Gene Autry. There is no doubt about their “mission” to keep these wonderful songs alive. Karen Gogolick and Rick Roltgen are known for their creative harmony arrangements plus award-winning harmony yodeling. From familiar songs to the less well-known rare gems, they give them all their own unique sound. Whether being funny or serious, nostalgic or original, they always put on a great show! "Outstanding Entertainer - Duo" of the Western Music Association and three-time "Harmony Yodeling Champions", this duo has musical roots that range from folk to barbershop. They met at a community barn dance in Madison, Wisconsin, and teamed up as “KG & The Ranger” (and husband and wife) in 1989. Since then they have performed over 2600 shows and traveled across the United States with their classic cowboy show.

Classic Cowboy Songs and Harmony Yodeling
Cowboy heroes and the Old West come to life when KG and The Ranger sing classic cowboy songs, yodel in harmony and spin a lariat! Known for their harmony singing and harmony yodeling, they bring a fresh new sound to the classic songs of the Hollywood cowboys. They were the Western Music Association "Harmony Yodeling Champions" in 2005, 2002 and 1999. In 2001 the Academy of Western Artists nominated them for "Rising Stars" and "Western Music Duo/group", and they were nominated for the WMA's 2002 "Crescendo"award. In 2007, KG was one of five finalists for the Academy of WesternArtist's Yodeler of the Year. In 2010 the WMA voted them "Outstanding Entertainer - Duo" of the year.
