Saturday
Matinee Our newest album features
classic songs from the Silver Screen Era. We are
joined once again by outstanding fiddler, Suzanne
Lansford, and extra harmonies by Angela Roltgen fill
out our sound. The title of the album was inspired
by a fun Cass County Boys song about kids going to
see cowboy movies on a Saturday afternoon for a
dime.

Cowboys Dream - available cassette
or CD
This collection of songs loosely follows the theme
of dreams. There are as many different kinds of
dreams as there are different sorts of cowboys -
from working cowboys to singing cowboys. It includes
our contest winning yodel in a new recording
of the song Sagebrush Symphony. Here's what Ranger Doug, of The Riders
In The Sky, says about it: "KG and the Ranger are among the best
known proponents of the western style and it's
easy to hear why:
they
sing with charm and style, they yodel
spectacularly, choose great material with
unerring taste, and write
fine
new songs as well. Their growing and continuing
success is well deserved."

are more recent. It includes a great Texas-style
swing fiddler, Karen Howell, plus David Fallow's
wonderful lead guitar work. It also features Ranger
Rick's original composition, Cowboys Weren't
Meant To Walk. Released in 1997.

Two original songs by Ranger Rick plus timeless
classics, including two yodeling songs; three songs
are specifically for children. Designed with
families in mind, it will appeal to all ages. This
album was inspired by our experiences taking cowboy
